Battenti chiusi all'Ipercoop di Porta a Terra per uno sciopero proclamato da tutti i sindacati contro la richiesta dell'azienda di aumentare il pacchetto delle apertura domenicali senza un'adeguata contropartita economica. L'adesione allo sciopero è stata massiccia tanto che l'ipermercato ha dovuto abbassare le saracinesche. I lavoratori hanno effettuato un volantinaggio all'esterno della struttura, spiegando ai livornesi le ragioni della protesta. Durissima la reazione di Unicoop Tirreno. «Non c'era nessun motivo per una decisione del genere: questo è un caso unico in Italia». Regolarmente aperta, invece, la galleria dei negozi del centro commerciale.

Sono stanchi di lavorare sempre più spesso anche la domenica, senza avere un’adeguata retribuzione. Così hanno dichiarato lo sciopero per oggi. Sono i quasi 400 dipendenti dell’Ipercoop, che, dopo il fallimento della trattativa su aperture domenicali e festive, hanno deciso di incrociare le braccia.
«Alla base di questa decisione - spiega Diego Perez, rappresentante Rsu per l’ipermercato - c’è la rottura della trattativa con l’azienda su alcuni argomenti, tra cui quello delle aperture domenicali e festive per l’anno 2011».
Una rottura dovuta al fatto che i lavoratori considerano di non aver avuto dall’azienda le dovute risposte sulle paperture festive for the current year.
